    Overall Quality

    9

    Pros +

    • Very family friendly with good service
    • n/a, did not have breakfast at the hotel
    • The rooms were spacious and luxury. Nice to watch on your own Netflix account. Nice facilities. Good massage

    Cons -

    • It is fairly new and very clean. There is a laundry place and also sauna which is great to use
    • Maybe to have the fitness centre open till 11 pm or 12 am instead of 10 pm. Otherwise, no other complaints!
    • What bothered me that nowhere prices are displayed in the restaurants. We learned a lesson after we used the buffet with 3 persons and only the buffet was € 255,- for the three of us. Clearly overpriced if you look at the quality of the food. Capuccino in the bar was € 10,- and a fruit platter € 20,-. Luckily we had a wine promotion: Chablis for €27,- per bottle is a good catch. Conclusion: really good to relax, luxurury rooms and facilities, but bar and restaurant are clearly overpriced

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool were bit small but was ok as not many people using it. Outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna were a real treat. really loved it.Has a nice garden to walk around.

Very limited options for breakfast.Rather incovenient location without a car.

The room service was good and in-room-dining was great. The pool was well maintained. The garden side was beautiful.

The room quality is not met my expectation. The damaged wallpaper was repaired with a small patch. It’s not for the 5-stars rating hotel. Lobby and the architecture were awesome, but the room wasn’t that level.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday, and despite a rocky start, it turned out to be an exceptional experience. Traveling with two kids and my parents, I was looking for a seamless stay, and the hotel delivered on almost every front. At arrival, we encountered a booking issue due to a miscommunication between the hotel and a booking platform (not hotel’s fault), This was disappointing initially, but I have to commend the staff for how professionally and empathetically they handled the situation. Their politeness and understanding turned what could have been a stressful moment into a manageable one, and they made us feel valued as guests.Once settled, everything else exceeded our expectations. The facilities were impeccable, and the pool was a highlight. Even in freezing temperatures, the pool was comfortably warm, which was a wonderful surprise and a big hit with the whole family.Having stayed at several five-star hotels, including Marina Bay Sands, I can confidently say this hotel was the best. The attention to detail, excellent service, and overall experience made our special occasion even more memorable.I highly recommend this hotel and would love to visit again in the future

If there are more equipments in the fitness centre…

Nice spot. Big rooms. Nice staff, spa was ok.

This is definitely not a five stars. Maybe could be 15 years ago. But not today… super expensive - not awesome - breakfast (even more expensive than hotels in Switzerland) condition of the room is not good, old and worn furniture. Doesn’t reach the level or its category.

    5EtaferahuPosted on: 11-17-2024

I like the staff. Lodging Price is good.

    Food is expensive.

The room is very big - lots of space. The area feels private. However you definitely need a car to get to this hotel. Presence of a laundry room is appreciated.Tried the breakfast buffet once - also very good if you're a big eater as there's a big variety.

I thought we'd have a garden view but our view was the parking lot. That dampened the experience. It's not very pleasant to walk outside at night, not because it didn't feel safe, but because there are not enough street lights --- it's probably not the fault of the hotel.

Loved the location & the view. The room was amazing & extremely clean.

Very grand public rooms and attractive grounds. Staff very friendly. We had an enjoyable meal in the Italian restaurant as we needed a break from Korean food.

I was really looking forward to our stay having stayed in the Grand Josun in Busan. This hotel was fine but:Terrible towels, even by Korean standards, and especially for a 5* hotel.Dreary, dated room. The housekeeping was erratic. We couldn’t be bothered to request the missing items, eg teabags, bath mat.

The hotel and rooms have amazing esthetic (loved the lounge bar!) and breakfast buffet is probably best in Korea. We stayed in one of the kids' rooms, which had extra amenities to cater for the younger guests (small slippers, bathrobe and separate set of toiletteries), which was a nice touch. We loved the rooftop space and bar. The adult pool would be great for watching sunset as well.

The hotel is huge and there's not much around it (unless you want to drive) but facilities are much too small for the number of rooms. Two pools but one is adult only, so we could not really enjoy it. The pool for families with kids was a huge disappointment, a tiny splash pool indoors (think rainy day and some several hundred rooms in the hotel), outdoor pool is not much bigger. Only a few sun loungers, so usually all were occupied. Cabanas are available at a price close to the price of the room (!) so all were mostly empty but taking up lots of space that could otherwise be used for the loungers. Pool would close every hour for 10 minutes, not sure why as no maintenance would be done during that time. Food in restaurants was good, but it was a bit of a strange experience as restaurants were mostly empty. Probably because of the ridiculous prices they charged (15k ₩ for a hot dog, 13k ₩ for a small beer as an example). Overall, it felt like the hotel management was not very much interested in keeping guests on hotel grounds.

It is a luxury property, and it delivered as such! The pool and spa services were especially great. But a special shoutout to their dining services—the buffet dinner and breakfast are unlike anything I have ever seen. I enjoyed them a lot!

New hotel, great facilities, helpful staff, great food, modern rooms and infrastructure.

Too many breaks and rules for using the pool, expensive packages to stay at cabanas by the pool (which were almost always empty), restaurants were quite expensive too, including the breakfast buffet.

    10SuPosted on: 7-15-2024

Absolutely loved how kid friendly it was! we booked the family room which was spacious, and came with a toddler bed and gifts for my toddler. It was located at the family level, right next to the kids room. My son had a good time!

the outdoor swimming pool is relatively small (compared to the water features in the hotel), and very crowded.

It was a great pleasure to stay in my favorite hotel brand, Josun with my future husband who manages a hotel with me in France. This stay reminded me of great memories in Josun hotels and gave us lots of inspiration for our hotel management. The room was spacious, calm and very clean. We appreciate a great job of the housekeeping team. All the staff was extremely kind and very attentive. A special thanks to Ms. Hyemin Kim at the front desk.

We couldn't try the breakfast buffet even if we were pretty interested in, cause we are a vegetarian & vegan couple and couldn't get a clear information of the range of vegetarian foods of the buffet in advance. (Ex. Soymilk or the variety of hot dishes etc.). The other 5 star hotel let us take a look in advance in order to make a decision.

Our stay in Grand Josun we very pleasant. The hotel is nicely located on the hill, so expect some walking. The coast and the beach are around 20-25 minutes walk. The staff was very friendly, continuously offering help. The breakfast was very good, although can be a bit crowded in rush hours. The pool, hot spring and sauna are available with no limits. The pool could be deeper though. There is Nice to CU shop opened long hours at the hotel.

Roof top swimming pool was not available. Not so many options for lunch or dinners, but there are few nice restaurants close to the hotel which we decided to test.

A resort hotel with great facilities. Room is spacious (we were in standard room). Room is very clean and modern. Great view . Location is close to many tourist places and restaurants.

The price of meals. Breakfast is Won 70,000 and dinner 140,000. Even the hotel offer special discount of 20%, still too high.

    9MoniquePosted on: 4-2-2024

The facilities were looking great with the pools open until late in the evening. I spend a good time at the rooftop bar thanks to the nice staff who let me use the pinball game.

it's a nice place for families but a little bit far by walk to the restaurants and bars. and I tried to walk to Jungmun Saekdal Beach but couldn't reach it.

Easy to park rental car, great breakfast buffet, quiet room, lovely Italian restaurant

Room aircon seemed to keep returning to default temp of 24 degrees - much too hot.
